Description: It is a kind of herb with about 1 meter high. The leaf with spines is thickly fleshly, concave or flat above and convex underneath. It has yellowish orange flowers.

Indications: The yellow juice from leaf skin is used in recipes as purgative. The leaf fresh mucilage is used to help relieve headache. Its external uses of mucilage are for healing burns and fresh wounds. It is also used as an ingredient in soap or shampoo in cosmetic products.
 
Parts of Its Medical Uses:
a) Daily intake helps relieve peptic ulcer.
b) Its fresh mucilage stimulates tissue repairment.
c) Its mucilage is also used as protective cream for sunburn and radiation.
